The fate of Chilean-American journalist Gonzalo Lira remains unknown after his failure to fulfil media commitments. Lira was a no-show for an interview with Mint Press' Dan Cohen about a violent crackdown against dissidents by Kiev.

An infamous Ukrainian neo-Nazi known as 'Botsman' took to social media to mock Lira's possible torture and beheading; he has since made his account private. 

Lira - who has been an outspoken critic of Zelensky's govt - told RT last week about the dangers of Kharkov and how no-one "can feel safe in Ukraine under the nationalist regime."

Lira was last seen in the city almost a week ago.

 Ukraine Seeks to "Destroy Crimea Bridge" - Region’s Only Link to Russia

Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council chief has apparently revealed that Kiev's forces are looking for a way to demolish the Crimean Bridge, Oleksiy Danilov apparently alluded to in an interview.

The bridge is the only connection between mainland Russia and the Crimean peninsula, which borders Ukraine, and currently serves as a vital route for military reinforcements and supplies.

According to reports, Danilov revealed that the Ukrainian forces would strike at the bridge “as soon as the opportunity presents itself."

The anti-Kiev blogger had his phone taken away, and claims posts made on his accounts after April 15 were not his own. Lira says he is still not in control of his online content and that he has to remain in the city of Kharkov.

These vehicles were among those that pushed in to Kiev’s outskirts, but were sent here as part of Russia’s force repositioning.

This is the last residential neighbourhood controlled by Ukrainian Azov nationalists, and only partly. Its loss would mean their total confinement  within the Azov Steel industrial district.
