 Ruble/Yuan sets Record at Moscow Exchange


The value of Ruble/Yuan transactions has risen to over 25 billion rubles (~$32MN) - a historic high since the Chinese currency opened on the Moscow Exchange.


The amount of Yuan trades made in Moscow has been on the rise since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine.

Here, you can see how close the fighting is to the Azov industrial complex.


There are no civilians in these buildings - most have been evacuated, but a significant number are still held as human shields by Ukrainian nationalists, who have surrounded themselves with locals at a nearby school.


That will be a job for infantry, as heavy weapons would cause too much collateral damage among civilians.

 Pentagon can’t confirm claims Russia used chemical weapons in Ukraine


The US Defense Dept has not received any clear evidence of an alleged attack that Ukrainian nationalist sources say took place in Mariupol – claiming it left several militants struggling to breathe and suffering from dizziness and headaches.


An aide to Mariupol’s Mayor Pyotr Andriuschenko also said the allegations of a chemical attack have yet to be  confirmed.


Western politicians, along with Kiev, have been hyping up allegations of a possible Russian chemical attack - despite Moscow saying it destroyed its chemical weapon supplies years ago.

 US Treasury Department: Telecom firms EXEMPT from Russia sanctions


Businesses involving “services, software, hardware, or technology incident to the exchange of communications over the internet” will no longer be subject to sanctions over Russia's military operation in Ukraine.


The move follows pleas from NGOs and internet freedom groups which argued that cutting Russians off from communication with the West would do more harm than good.


The decision is bad news for Kiev though, which has urged the West for a digital iron curtain by revoking Russia’s access to the Domain Name System.

 '90% of Chinese' Think US is “BULLY” in Ukraine Crisis - Poll


A huge number of Chinese people surveyed online believe the US has acted like a bully and hegemon throughout the Ukraine crisis, according to a poll on state-backed Huanqui’s Weibo account.


Over 12,000 were also asked about the US role in sanctioning China, and 92.2% believed they were attempting to bully Beijing, while 89% believed Washington is trying to establish an Indo-Pacific NATO equivalent.


Last week FM spox Zhao Lijian claimed the conflict in Ukraine and US sanctions have “incurred an influx of refugees, capital outflow and energy shortage in Europe, but enabled the US to make a fortune.”

 Airbus Urges West to Rethink Russian Titanium Sanctions


Airbus CEO Gullaume Faury has urged the West to think twice over sanctions on importing Russian titanium, claiming it would damage Western aerospace manufacturing while barely affecting the Russian economy.


Russia is the world’s 3rd-largest exporter of the material, providing Airbus with about half its titanium, while Japan and Russia are key suppliers of American refined titanium - 90% of which is imported.

 ‘Are You Poor?’: Moscow Blasts Poland for Giving Russian Diplomatic Property to 'Ukrainian Friends'


Russian FM spokesperson Maria Zakharova has ridiculed the Polish authorities’ decision to pass Moscow’s diplomatic property to Ukraine.


“It is a blatant violation of international law,” Zakharova  said, adding, “Are you so poor you start robbing other people?”
